Ice Fishing Flipover Rod Holder
Description
This is a swing out rod holder for ice fishing. Unlike the more rounded design I uploaded, this version will hold your rod out and can be used to hold it as a dead stick. Use 1/4" hardware to mount it to the lip if your sled and tighten just enough so it won't move until you want it to. Would suggest a button head screw, washers, and nylock nut. I've found this fits most rods, but will not work with very short (4') handled ice rods. Also, split grip handles are a little difficult to get in and out quickly to set a hook. Tested with both PLA and PETG, both work, if you can do either, I'd go with PETG and a high (50%+) infill. Supports are not needed unless you have trouble with 45 degree overhangs.
