Stand for Halo Pelican
Description
Per request, this is the stand I used to print the pelican at 150% (https://www.thingiverse.com/make:921585) Do note that the stand was designed for the model (I used the sliced version: thing:3777461) to be printed at 150%. If you would like to print the original model at 100% scale, you'll need to print the stand at 66.6666% scale. For any other size, I'd recommend scaling the stand down to the 2/3 scale, saving as a new model, then scaling from there to match your desired scale percent. I used a brute-force boolean method (wasn't very good with CAD, only slightly better now lol) to create the stand so the tolerances on the top part are pretty small. I didn't need to sand it down but it was a pretty tight fit. It should be the same when scaled down to fit a 100% scale pelican, but of course YMMV. Lastly, it's supposed to go in the location shown in the second picture as the equipment bay struts aren't perfectly symmetrical. If you are having issues, try rotating it as it also only properly fits one way. It does sort of fit in the other slots, but not as well.
