Cube Printer (2nd Generation) Filament Chip Carrier

Description

I Have Used This Model To Mount A Chip That Is Not Marked As Empty. This Is Used When I Am Using Non-Proprietary Bulk Spool Filament. When The Printer Requires The Chip To Present, I Press The Chip Onto The Reader Pins. Once The Print Is Underway, I Press The 'Stop' Button On The Touch Screen And Then Remove The Chip. The Printer Will Continue To Print Using The Bulk Filament. The Photo Of The Shows That I Lay The Device Face-Down Near The Reader, And Then Slide It Onto The Reader Pins When Required. After The Chips Has Been Read, And Stop Pressed, I Slide It Back In The Channel To Disconnect The Chip So That The Filament Usage Is Not Updated. I Printed This Using Clear Filament So That I Could See That The Placement Of The Chip Was Correct. This Makes It Hard To See In The Photos; Sorry About That. Also In The Photos You May Notice That I Have Glued A Magnet Onto The Device. I Did This So That I Can Attach The Device To The Printer Between Uses. I Have Printed Two Of These Carriers; One For Pla And Another For An Abs Chip.
