Serenity Quest Rifle Stock

Serenity Quest Rifle Stock

Description

This is my 4th design of a VR Gaming Rifle Stock.. So far this is the one I am using daily to play "Population:One". Our Scores immediately DOUBLED as far as "Hits", "Head-Shots", etc.. We've knocked down Full Squads of Bots (3 Bots) using only ONE Magazine in an AK or UMP in the game MANY times since we started using this stock.THAT is what I'd been waiting to see while developing MANY different VR Rifle Stocks... "A Stock that significantly improves our gaming scores". The Right-Hand Quest-2 Hand-Controller stays clipped into the Mid-Stock Hand-Controller-Holder, which was modified from this Excellent Design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4538594 The entire stock is under 3 Ounces so you don't even notice the stock is connected to the Right-Hand-Controller... The Left-Hand-Controller is easily held against the Front Fore-Grip attachment as needed, so your left Hand-Controller is completely free to grab loot, reload weapons, climb, etc... You'll need 12 Inches of 13mm OD Thin-Walled Aluminum Pipe, and 5 Inches of 8mm OD Thin-Walled Aluminum Pipe.. You'll also need 3 Self-Tapping Computer Fan Screws.. Just look at the schematics in this section, it's pretty self-explanatory. The stock is as short as it can be and still reliably activate the usual rifles found in VR Games. This keeps you from whacking yourself with the Stock while Climbing, Eating Bananas, Panic Swapping Weapons to threaten other players with Bananas, etc.. ;) The Parts are meant to fit the Aluminum Pipes SNUGLY so there is NO "Slop" during use, so you may have to open/clean the holes in the 3D Printed Parts a TINY bit. The Front "Left-Hand Fore-Stock" doesn't need screws since the parts are designed to swivel as needed, but I included holes for small screws in those parts also if needed. We're avid shooters, So I aligned the Hand-Grips to point "On-Target, With the Point-Of-Aim of the stock" when using the AWP Sniper Rifle in "Population:One", which also aligns all of the other rifles to the stock in Population:One, Pavlov Shack, Contractors, etc... But there's also some "adjustment" added into the screw areas so you can swivel/rotate the parts somewhat if your Point-Of-Aim is a little different. It's a fast print, and a fast build, so they're getting really popular among our friends since anyone with a 3D Printer can knock out the parts in a few hours... You should notice IMMEDIATE improvement in the stability of your hands when aiming rifles, as well as needing to carry MUCH less ammo in games since your Hit-Rate should improve even more as you get used to playing with a Rifle Stock.
