Aquael Fan mini upgrade large sponge for shrimp safety
Description
This thing is designed to replace the standard Aquael FAN mini filter and possibly other Aquael filter models. The standard filter is too small for high-quality filtration of water in the aquarium, and the holes in the body are unsafe for shrimp and fish fry, as they are sucked into a trap from which they cannot get out. To solve the problem, I used a cylindrical sponge 7x14 centimeters. For a tighter fit on the filter housing, it is necessary to cut off the back decorative wall (alternatively, you can trim the upper part of the sponge to match the shape of the filter) the set includes sponge tubes with a hole of 10mm and 15mm. There are also covers on the tube in case the sponge has a through hole.
