J308 version 2022 geiger tube holder
Description
This tube holder is for the J308, the 2022 version. As the tube is vulnerable you have to handle it with care. You need two strips of 0,4 mm brass, 7 mm wide and 50 mm long for the contacts. To bend the contacts I made a helper tool. I used a pipe wrench to bend the sharp angles. Furthermore you need thing wire, black and red. If the contacts have been bent, solder the wire on the contacts. Put the contacts on both sides of the holder. I put some glue on the bottom. Then press the small block between the u-shaped contacts while adding some glue into the base. Use pliers to press the blocks firm in place. Cut the brass ends so that they match the size of the holder.
