Supports PCB magnets on steel bed helping hands - parametric design
Description
I wanted something better than the alligator clips that came with my steel-bed helping hands. The Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) I'm working with have holes to clear 2mm screws, smaller than the supports that came with the helping hands. My helping hands looks a bit like this one on Aliexpress - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003156175982.html (That link is just for info - I'm not recommending that product, have no connection with the seller, and bought mine locally) My supports use a screw in the top to slip into the PCB mounting hole, and a magnet in the base to stick to the steel bed of the helping hands. All the dimensions are configurable in OpenSCAD. The .stl files will make supports 25 mm tall, magnet 8 x 3 mm, and screw M2 x 6 mm (One file makes a single support, the other makes a set of 4
