CO2 Laser Mirror Removal Tool
Description
Since purchasing my OMTech AF2028-80 CO2 Laser, I have use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the Mirror Retaining Ring. Not wanting to damage the rings, and not knowing where to find the proper tool, I designed one. The tool has two hole, 9mm deep, and 2mm in diameter. The holes are designed to have pins installed and glued. I used 5/64" drill bits. I cut one into 10mm long sections and inserted them into the holes. Additionally, the centre ring is designed to seat into the centre opening on the retaining ring, giving the tool and better attachment to the ring.
