Description
ExDreeme V2 Jedi Lightsaber hilt display stand. Designed for use with any lightsaber with a removable/detachable blade and incorporates my interpretation of the Jedi™ crest from the Star Wars ™ Universe. Can be used as a functional hilt display or as a decorative piece when the saber hilt is not being displayed. The hilt cradle is designed to accommodate a wide range of hilt lengths and diameters. This hilt display has been designed with internal space to support the addition of LED lighting to enhance the overall appearance of the piece. Printing and assembly suggestions: If backlit LED effects are desired, I recommend printing the Jedi Crest mounting/backlight panel and the Hilt cradle backlight insert in a transparent colored filament of your choice to match your blade color or fabricate the items from clear acrylic sheet material. The Jedi crest is free-floating and is to be attached to the mounting plate after the plate is in place. Mounting plate is inserted through the access opening located on the bottom side of the display body and secured in place prior to mounting the crest. Insert the back half of the crest through the mounting plate holes and apply glue to the pins, set the front half of the crest in place and push down onto the pins. *WARNING -Dry fit all pieces before gluing. Battery/lighting compartment cover designed to be secured in place with screws. Assemble components using CA glue or epoxy at connection/insertion points. Suggested finishing options: Use plastic body filler and/or high build primer with sanding to create smooth surfaces; apply high gloss or satin finish white paint on the main body of the display.
