Bell MX-9 Adventure GoPro Chin Mount (Accepts and mount!)
Description
I wanted to print a GoPro chin mount for my Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet. Luckily, Jsut210 had a solid design, but I personally had some problems with it. The mount was too short and did not stick out far enough for a GoPro Hero 9 with a media mod. I then found PhiltheCasual's remix, and ended up being the model I printed. Still, the Hero 9 with media mod did not fit, and I ended up chipping the end of the mount because it sticks out so dang far. What I ended up doing was building off of the foundation of Jsut210's design, but instead of having the GoPro screw directly onto the mount, I incorporated a GoPro surface mount design instead of the screw-on design, which allows for the end user to select whichever mount they want to use without having to even modify the chin mount. This design also allows the user to disconnect the desired GoPro mount from the chin mount, which allows the mount to stick out less, avoiding damage and looking better in the process. This design is the end-all-be-all open-source GoPro mount for the Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet! Please give it a try!
