Don't forget to use non toxic markers if you plan to eat the eggs! Put your hard boiled egg in and secure it. Turn the egg with the crank and use markers to stripe the egg. (The set screw is reverse thread, so left to tighten.) If you don't want to use the crank you can spin the egg by turning the wheel at the opposite end, you can substitute the extra geared wheel for the crank
