Samsung Odyssey G7 27inch VESA 100 Mount

Samsung Odyssey G7 27inch VESA 100 Mount

Description

I bought a factory second Odyssey G7 that didn't come with the VESA mount, and looking online it would have cost me over $100 Australian Dollarydoos to buy one.......... nope.avi So I took some measurements from the Odyssey's desk stand mounting plate and knocked this design up. Considering the weight of these monitors, I recommend printing this in PETG with 100% infill for optimum strength. It only has the VESA 100mm holes as including 75mm holes would have made it really annoying to print, and I doubt a 75mm arm would be able to lift the weight of the G7s. The VESA holes are 3.4mm in diameter, 4mm deep, and should fit 99% of screws that come with VESA monitor arms. Mine bit pretty tightly, and I haven't noticed any slippage since using the print. I have no idea if this mount will fit the larger G7 monitors, or any of the other Odyssey series, so I've included a STEP file for the model so anyone can make adjustments to it to expand compatibility. Please note that this model was designed for strength rather than ease of printing, and requires supports regardless of print orientation. I found it easiest to print small side down with supports holding up the larger ring, and it took around 10 hours to print at 0.15mm layer height with 100% infill on my old Prusa MK3.
