Ender 3 Max Neo Top LED Mount
Description
This is a top gantry LED mount for an END 3 Max Neo. It pairs with my X Axis gantry LED mount. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5931926. This design is good to give overall lighting where the other is for focus lighting and status lighting for the print itself. 90% of the time the LED's in this design are white, where my other design because I can easily see them in my camera can provide status of the print via the LED's. Although I do not use the cover for this LED mount design, one is provided. If you choose to use the cover, it is recommend to print in white PLA. Although the LEDs can get warm I have not had an issue with the PLA deforming. This design uses 20 LED's per side. I use a Athom WLED High Power Addressable LED Strip, one segment is created for the print focus LED's and another segment for the LED in this mount. You potentially could create multiple segments for the LED's in this mount. I have tested the Athom WLED High Power Addressable LED Strip controller with up to 120 LED's with no issues. More than that number of LED's and the LED's may not be able to obtain full brightness without another power source. Although there are 6 models the left and right/ front back sides are the same and are provided to prevent confusion. Feel free to ask any questions.
