Schatz’s Deltohedron, Oloid, Evertible Cbue
Description
####Schatz’s Deltohedron The deltohedron is a critical structure for understanding Schatz’s ingenious approach to the oloid from a cube. It can be thought of as a cube stretched and squeezed along a major diagonal , where the central edges (the middle ring) are always perpendicular to all the polar edges. I first designed this from an evertible cube; then tried it again using the properties of the dihedral angles of the structure. It was not as easy as I expected. However, it is a great design-based approach to the mesmerizing oloid. Two versions are provided; they can be scaled down when needed. ####References 1. https://mathworld.wolfram.com/Deltohedron.html 2. Schatz, Paul (2013).
