Filterholder Samyang XP 14mm F2.4 lens
Description
A filterholder for 150 x 150mm rectangular filters for a Samyang XP 14mm f/2.4 ultra wideangle lens. Easy to print in 3 parts. The filter base "housing" ist bigger than filterholders that you can purchase. But you can add e.g. heating foils to warm up the base and therefore the filter to prevent dew or ice during a cold night when capturing astro-images. You need five M5 and four M3 threaded inserts for the the rear part, connecting the base plate to the base frame part. And you need minimum 6 threaded insert M3 and short screws to assemble and fix the 150mm filter with the top part to the base frame. Use for the base-plate M5 inner screws, plastic srews only. These screws fix the Lens, center and press the lens to the base frame. Use between the filter top and the filter glas self-adhesive felt pads or something similar, adapt the size with scissors or knife. I've tested everything with a broadband Rollei Astroklar Light Pollution. No vignetting visible, result was very good!
