DPH3205 case (DPH series RD Tech Ruideng DC-DC power supply)
Description
I submit this with some improvements over the previous model: 1. I changed the XT60 for panel-mount 5.5mm 2.5mm barrel jacks, because the DPH series is compatible with any input voltage, including generic 12v power supplies. 2. I changed the fan grill to be linear because it is compatible with the circuit board being at a range of heights in the box. No support material is needed. 3. Currently the faceplate is being pushed out by the wires behind it. It does not clip into place. I made the faceplate 1mm thinner, I hope the faceplate will now friction fit correctly. I have not tested this. 4. Two power ports are provided, wired in parallel. This allows the possibility of powering multiple things from the same constant-voltage supply. (I will power my soldering iron from this). Overall the design is very thick and strong. It could be made thinner if you want. The design still requires: 1. A way to secure the lid to the base. 2. I found that the PCB did not really need to be screw mounted. The wires inside the box stop it moving much.
