Ozark Trail Cooler Plug Modified
Description
I recently picked up an Ozark Trail 26 quart cooler from walmart that was missing a drain plug. The cooler was on clearance, and the last one, so I figured I could print one. I found Atrayyu's plug so I printed it out, probably tried half a dozen times. I just couldn't get a clean print with supports, neither printing horizontal or vertical. Also, had trouble threading it in, printing at 100 or 99% So I changed a few things to make it fit better on my cooler and not need supports. Give this one a shot if you have problems with the original one. Firstly, I changed the area where you grip the plug, so you can just print it vertically without supports at all. I also changed the pitch of the threads a little so it threaded in better for me. Should be able to print at 100% without issue. I included a simple washer to seal the plug, print this with TPU. I haven't actually tested the washer yet, but should work fine. Will probably have to thread the washer on to the plug, or try stretching over the threads. Let me know if anything needs to be changed. I printed mine with PETG, at 50% infill for strength, no supports, or rafts needed. (if you have a descent setup) Printed fine on my cheap ender 3 pro.
