Bed support for Ender 3 (2021)

Bed support for Ender 3 (2021)

Description

I have seen many supports to record the images of the printing process of an object. I really like those that adapt mechanisms that allow a spectacular Time Lapse, but it is not my goal. The design is simple and specific to the Ender 3 and some models that have the same bed platform. I printed it with PETG thinking about the temperature that the object will have to withstand, I did tests with PLA and it ends up bowing (although with supports from other designers). There are similar designs to mine, these are secured in the bed leveling mechanisms, but it seems somewhat inconvenient to me. For what my design is attached to the base (see photo), I added an M3 bolt with its nut in order to secure but I consider it optional, this because the support stays well adjusted. In the photos you can see that I use a GoPro, from experience I must indicate that there are some vibrations, but the camera stabilizes perfectly, even so, the weight is considerable and most likely, before printing, you have to level the bed every time This is because, I insist, the weight of the camera is remarkable. I put a "support" on the arm, however I removed it because it interferes too much with the leveling of the bed. I was thinking of perfecting it, but we know that the Ender 3, despite still being sold, is quite outdated. Also, I did the test with another camera, much lighter, it works well, only that I do the Time Lapse through software.
