Cooling fan for Sony Alpha 7 IV / A7IV or A7S III
Description
I found that during longer recording sessions at 4K in a warm environment, my Sony Alpha 7 IV tends to overheat and then shuts down mid recording following a warning. So I built a holder for a small 40 mm 5V fan which can be attached to the camera when the screen is flipped out. The surface behind the screen is where the camera gets the hottest during operation. This is the fan which I'm using and it's running directly off a small 1S LiPo battery (600mAh, 3.7V).
