Gridfinity retro toolbox-tote

Gridfinity retro toolbox-tote

Description

Ever want to move a bunch of stuff from one place to another? Have a bunch of gridfinity stuff? Well, I wanted to get in on Zach's madness and rather than reinvent the wheel, I reinvented the other wheel. I reimagined a tool-tote as a Gridfinity moving contraption. This is a colossal waste of plastic... it would probably be smarter to make a box out of cardboard or something and put the bins in it... or just use a filament box from the filiment you didn't waste printing this thing out... but I'm not that kind of guy. Being all Gen-X and stuff, I believe in better living through plastic, plus I wanted a big print that I might be able to do something with and still be able to test out my ender 5 plus with all the new mods installed. This is too big to print on most printers... you need one axis that can print about 350mm. (it should be X or Y... Z would be an even bigger waste of plastic unless you can bridge like a fiend...) otherwise, you could chop up the box to fit it on a smaller printer. It holds 28 'finities... grids... squares... whatever. 28 (4x7) units in the XY dimensions (since you can stack 'em) Finished tote requires two M5 screws at least 10mm long. If you print it, post a make... I dare you.
