Pasco Smart Cart Base
Description
I wanted a way to investigate the friction of different surfaces using a Pasco smart cart as the force sensor. This is what I came up with. The bases stack. One base gives a PLA surface, another a felt surface and the last a cork surface. You could have other surfaces just by gluing some material to a base using contact cement. I got the felt at a Michael's craft store. The cork is about 1.5mm thick with an adhesive back that I bought at a home supplies store. Attach the hook to your Pasco cart, a string to the hook then record force and pull the string to get a graph of each material. ### Print settings Nothing special. I used PLA at 0.2mm layer height. I was going to export the file as a STL too but Fusion 360 decided to force me to upgrade today and I have to rush home. I'll export it later and upload it. You can use the 3mf file in a lot of slicers as just like a STL file. --- Please give me a like if you decide to use one of my things. It encourages me to share more. Better yet, post a photo of your make. My other things are here: https://www.thingiverse.com/frostyfriday
