Description

N gauge 0-6-0 "Jinty" bodyshell The LMS 3F "Jinty" steam locomotives were a class of 0-6-0T locomotives built by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) in the 1920s and 1930s. They were designed primarily for shunting and local freight work, but were also used for passenger services on branch lines. A total of 422 Jinty locomotives were built, with slight variations between batches. They were known for their reliability and flexibility, and were popular with both crews and enthusiasts. Many survived into preservation, and a few are still operational on heritage railways today.
