Casting Flask Lugs - Pin Design

All credit to Olfoundryman over on YouTube for the idea. If you have not seen his videos, then they are worth a look if you want to see some very valuable trips on metal casting. This is my version of the Lugs/Ears for metal casting flasks and include: - Pattern for the Lugs themselves - Jigs to help drilling/cutting the holes and slots square (good luck!) - Feeders in case you need them to prevent shrinkage This idea of the design is: - Easy to print and Easy to cast - Smaller profile so it can be attached to frames down to 40mm heigh - Uses 8mm partially threaded bolts (cut the heads off and bolt onto the top Lug/Ear). Pick a bolt length to suit - Can be attached to wood or metal frames Printing: Nothing special but FWIW: - I printed the patterns of a Resin Printer as it gives a castable pattern without any sanding - I printed the Jibs on an FDM printer as it is cheaper I'll post some shots as I go along.
