NFC Door Lock Housing

NFC Door Lock Housing

Description

Decided To Build This Really Cool Project By Qtechknow Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:735525 As My First Arduino Project, But When I Realized That I Needed To Modify The Design To Work With My Kwikset Deadbolt, I Decided To Build A New Housing From Scratch To Give It A More Finished Look (The Original Has The Servo Exposed And Uses Hot Glue To Mount It). The Instructable Is Linked On The 735525 Page And My Photos Should Fill In The Blanks For How My Pieces Go Together. I May Update This With A Port For The Micro-Usb Power Connector (To Charge The Lipo) But You Could Also Just Add A Hole Or A Slot Where You Want Them. Printed In Abs At .3 Layer Height (Would Probably Look Nicer At .2), 50% Infill Mostly, With Thick Perimeters For Walls (Play With Settings For Your Printer). Support Needed For The Motor-Cap. Holes On Sides Are For 4Mm Bolt/Screw To Keep Things Nice And Tight. Hole In Top Of Cap/Bottom Of Body Is To Run Servo Power Cable. I Also Trimmed The Mounting Tabs From The Body Of The Servo To Keep The Motor Cap As Small As I Could Get Away With. And Since Qduino Mini Isn'T Generally Available Yet, If Anyone Knows How To Hook Up A Sparkfun 3.3V Pro Micro (I'Ve Got It Powered Up Via Lipo Battery At Least!) To An Adafruit Nfc Shield And Wants To Give Me Some Tips, It Would Be Appreciated, As My Electronics Skills Leave Something To Be Desired :) Thanks Again To Qtechknow For The Cool Project And Instructable!
