O. T. Octavepus (Wavelength Teaching Mollusc)
Description
Ever wondered how long a sound wave is? The O. T. Octavepus (or One Third Octavepus, if you use his full name) is a useful teaching tool to explain the lengths of different sound waves! The Octavepus has 8 tentacles that are the same lengths as 8 different Third-Octave frequencies. Frequencies range from 1600Hz to 8000Hz in third octave increments. Each tentacle even has helpful text to identify it's analogous frequency! This model is fairly easy to print. Simply print one of every provided part, and attach the head to the base. Then, the sound wave tentacles can be stored on the built in base posts.
