Knitting aid with table clamp
Description
Designed this while helping my wife on a project for her AT class during her Occupational Therapy course (at PUC Campinas, Brazil). The objective was to build a device to help a lady knit with a single hand while she was hospitalized. The device would be clamped to a table by the side of her bed. I searched for something ready to print, but did not find any, so I built this one inspired by two projects they found on YouTube. The final design includes a table clamp on the base and a needle clamp attached to the top of a piece of wood they initially wanted to use. All parts were modeled using Autodesk Inventor 2019.
