Photographic light tent feet rings

Photographic light tent feet rings

Description

### What is this? These are printer leg passthrough rings for photographic light tent. Their purpose is to prevent degradation of the fabric after making holes for the legs of the printer. ### Why it exists? I noticed that micro vibrations from moving parts can cause printer to drift on the table if it is slippery as rubber feet do not have direct contact with the surface. ### How to install it? 1. Outline/trace feet of the printer while it is standing inside the tent with marker. 2. Remove the printer from the tent and once again outline previously drawn markings using upper ring part as a template. Try to keep them center. 3. Cut marked holes in the fabric. (I used nail scissors as they are small and they have rounded tip to make the job easier.) 4. Cover the bottom rings (upper surface) with epoxy based glue and slide them under the tent to match the holes. You sholud not use any instant glue, you need time to cover all the parts with glue and allign them properly. I'd suggest placing paper sheet under the ring to avoid gluing it to the surface. 5. Cover upper ring part with glue and place it on top of the bottom ring part from inside the tent. 6. Use something heavy (bunch of books for example) to press the ring down as the glue is curing.
