YoLink Door Sensor Spacer Thingy

YoLink Door Sensor Spacer Thingy

Description

So say you have a door, and the door itself is not even with the frame, but you want a door sensor to work with its magnet bar thingy, but the difference in position makes it so the sensor doesn't register the magnet when it is closed, oh, and this has to be a YoLink door sensor, so you look around your house for all kinds of options that would work to get that magnet bar thingy at just the right height so it works to perfection, but everything you find would just look super janky, but, and this is the most critical part of the whole thing, you also need to have a 3d printer or a friend with a 3d printer, you probably already figured this part out if you're looking at this page, but anyway, the venn diagram of all these factors coming together means you're probably like 1 in a million, so lucky you! Alrighty so I made 4 variants, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm. If you've got your printer dialed in as well as mine is, then when you print this out the fit will be perfect. But maybe my measuring was way off and my printer calibration sucks, and it was just like a crazy coincidence that it all worked out so perfectly. I don't know. You know what would be amazing, if you printed this out in clear, like with say this [Sunlu clear PLA](https://amzn.to/42cXB8C) and your printer calibration was just super spot on, and you printed this at 100% infill, it would probably look like your magnet was floating, or at the very least, the spacer would more closely match your door color with the transparency and everything. It would most definitely look better than if you printed it in standard 3d printer blue, that's just awful, unless you're into that sort of thing, but come on there's like a million different awesome colors, oooo I just had an idea, print it in [Overture Glow in the Dark PLA](https://amzn.to/3NwNuY8) that would be trippy. You should know if you click any of these links and buy something I'll earn a small commission. Did I link to real products on Amazon or am I going to Rickroll you? Anyways, I'm rambling again. If you find this useful, great. Oh, use double sided tape to mount this to your magnet bar, and then the whole stack to your door. That should do it.
