X5SA Tronxy Hotend case & direct Extruder Mod
Description
My printer is a Tronxy X5SA pro from 12/2020 with Titan extruder. Modifications: - Wirechain to the right to stay inside the cabinet- - Capacitive level sensor The intention is to use as much stock parts as possible. Due to different Ideas, I designed a hotend cover with only one fan. (it works and fits to my original carrier: more details later) I desided to use the original carrier with airflow direction to the heatbed. Some M3 Screws and nuts are needed and a metallic plate out of a can. Result: Temperature: 30°C in the cabinet; 32-33°C in the cover (+2-3K) No delamination as a result of too much cooling. This is still at work. 3D Parts: - hotend cover (PETG & high resolution & supports) (17g) - hotend carrier with mounting base for direct extruder. (PETG; 3 walls; >25% infill) - base for direct extruder mount together (20g) - mounting of level sensor is missing but screw wholes are available
