Tesla Coil Secondary winding supports
Description
When designing a Telsa coil, I wanted a nice way to hold the primary winding, which I made with simple copper tube, I bought from a Hardware store. This holder is designed to hold the winding with a uniform pitch along the entire length of the primary. It also includes a holder for a strike ring. So I designed this. Note that due to the complex geometry for the winding spiral, this can take a long time to render. Even on a powerful PC, this can take about 2 minutes to render. You can adjust the resolution of the render, in order to speed up design time. Also note that depending on your wire and printer accuracy, you might need to spend some time adjusting the distance with which the copper wire is sunk into the print. In order to render it, I included the file which I used, which seems to have changed on its Github. This was originally from: https://github.com/openscad/list-comprehension-demos/blob/master/sweep.scad which needs this library: https://github.com/OskarLinde/scad-utils
