Yeti Microphone Stand
Description
The mic stand I created is simple in its design; with subtle curves and transitions that wont look out of place in your office or at your battle station. your Blue Yeti microphone will press fit right in to the inset. If you have the screw for the base of the mic, there is room to secure the microphone with it as well. the screw will line up flat with the stand cutout. the first version of this mic stand has a circular neck leading up to the mic and a flat triangular base. While some people may like this version better, i have made a v2 that i personally enjoy the design of much more. on the V2 stand, the neck and base are broadened and the transition and bolt hole cutout was re-done to accommodate the new design. this version looks a lot better to me. NOTES: V2 is shown in the images. PRINT WITH BASE ON BUILD PLATE. v2 Includes a STEP file version as well as STL. STEP files have much higher polygon counts which result in a far smoother print. If your slicer can slice STEP files. I highly recommend using it for prints like this. all versions of this stand can be printed without supports, rafts, or even infill. however, I recommend 25% infill and 4 walls to increase the rigidity and weight of the part. for best surface results, use concentric top surface pattern and a lower layer height. depending on filament or cooling capacity, supports may be needed for the rear.
