Sonic Pad Mount for Articulating Arm
Description
I wanted an articulating arm for my sonic pad to be wall mounted. Everything I could find was either mounts for walls, mounts to put it on a desk front or to the top of the machine. I liked that it would be out of the way up there, but the idea of additional top weight with this thing going fast and two machines running off it on one table didn't sit very well. So with my limited designing skills, I took two designs that were already great and combined them for what wasn't yet! The back portion of the mount, i did have to increase in size for the hinge to fit right, also wanted it to be a little stronger. With leaving the leg screws a little loose on the pad, you can tilt it up if your cable ends are a little longer than the other, on the usb side. - I printed everything with Inland PLA+ - 40% infill - Layer height 0.24 - Supports on for the top hinge in back of the mount. For the wall/arm parts i used the recommended settings on the original in the link below. Side note: I did run into some issues with the bolts fitting tight and the nuts not wanting to fit right, but I am almost positive that issue is from my end with cooling.. I'm still fairly new to klipper and learning everything. It also made some of the arm joints fairly tight. Once I got them in the position i wanted and everything tightened, it doesn't really budge at all though.
