Lightweight E3V2Neo fan duct for Spider 3 hotend
Description
Lightweight fan shroud and part cooler bracket for Ender 3 v2 **Neo** using a Spider 3 hotend and CR Touch. Designed to reuse the stock E3V2 **Neo** fans. * The CR Touch mount holes are sized to self-tap when srewing in M3 screws. * The front 4010 mounting holes are made for M3 heatset inserts. * The Part cooler fan mounting holes are also self tapping by reusing the stock screws. * Print face down, using supports, to get a nicer finish and mounting surface for the front fan * Use PETG for better heat resistance and flexibilty for the install process. To mount the fan duct, you'll need to go in at an angle through the cone. To ease the process, pre-screw both screws before trying to mount it. Your allen key will be at a pretty sharp angle in the screw head so you will need some patience. Once the first screw bites in the metal thread, you can then apply some lateral force on the shroud to make you life easier. That where PETG shines over PLA as it can flex a lot more. I'll probably add holes in the front of the shroud to avoid all this hassle. Once both brackets are mounted to the printer you can attach the CR-Touch, the front fan and the part cooler fan. There are two holes just above the CR-Touch mount to zip-tie the heater / heat sensor wires. It's my first 3D model from the ground up, feedback would be appreciated.
