While it does its job fine, there was an issue that has been bothering me right from the start. When used on one direction it works fine, but in order to use it in the other direction you have to hold the direction button in place while simultaneously pressing the trigger. I created this model in order to fix this issue once and for all. Why did this happen in the first place? See for your self in the 3rd picture, on the Left side is my model and on the Right side is the original part. Lots of unnecessary space/tolerance = sloppy movement = bad switch activation. # Note This might fit actual Makitas too but they probably made it right from the start. In case yours broke or you lost it for some reason you can give this a go.
