Serenity Quest Rifle Stock V8
Description
This is my 8th design of a VR Gaming Rifle Stock.. This is currently the one our team of 5 people use to play "Breachers" and "Population:One" every night. The hand-controllers align to the default sights in Breachers and Population:One perfectly. If you have any small adjustments that are needed for your style of play, just make the adjustments in the game's Weapons settings. Our Scores immediately JUMPED. The Right-Hand Quest-2 Hand-Controller stays clipped into the Mid-Stock Hand-Controller-Holder, which was modified from this Excellent Design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4538594 The entire stock is under 1.4 oz when printed in Carbon Fiber (But it prints fine in PLA also) so you don't even notice the stock is connected to the Right-Hand-Controller... The Left-Hand-Controller is easily held against the Front Fore-Grip attachment as needed. This means that both Hand-Controllers are completely free to grab loot, reload weapons, climb, etc... You'll need 300mm of 7mm O.D. x 3mm I.D. Aluminum Pipe, and 130mm of the same pipe for the front end, along with four m2.5x20 screws/washers/nuts... Just look at the schematics in this section, it's pretty self-explanatory. We use this pipe from Amazon, but it has started selling out quickly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNQ4Q8S9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details If you're hard on rifle stocks, you may wish to use 8mm O.D. x 5mm I.D. Aluminum Pipe instead. I included both a Short Buttstock and a Long Buttstock. I usually use the short Buttstock in Pop1 and the long Buttstock in Breachers and Contractors.
