Sharpshooter mode and mid transformation versions Star Wars DC15 A rifle with enhanced detail for 1:12 , 1:6 and 1:1 figures and cosplay

Description

Two more variants of the enhanced version of my movie accurate DC15A rifle with added details that are logically supposed to be there. This time one is is in sharpshooter configuration ideal for figure displays where troopers are sniping while the other is a mid transformation version of the rifle for dioramas where troopers are converting their rifles to sharpshooter mode. Whatever you use them for, you now have more options! The details I added to the original Revenge of the Sith version model include: Lenses on the scope as the ROTS model used in the films was missing them despite canon material indicating it is a scope and other depictions such as games including lenses. I also added a recessed screen on the rear of the large wedge part of the rifle (again, in the movie it appears to just be flat metal but clones are shown looking “through” it and other depictions such as Battlefront 2 2005 DC15 have a screen there, so I added it). Additionally I added a few seam lines for sections that are supposed to be articulated such as the flip up iron sight as well as the where the obvious bipod arms meet on top of the rifle (again, the seam line is visible in some other depictions such as battlefront 2 2005 so there is precedent for it). In addition to the above I added slightly recessed “screens” on the protruding section in front of the scope since logically it blocks the view and so now it is a “sighting calibration lens” for auto calibrating the scope when it is moved. Each rifle version comes in Standard and reinforced/thick variants. The reinforced versions have thickened trigger guards and other alterations to help improve chances of successfully printing at smaller scales. The 1:12 scale option is the reinforced version only, 1:6 has both options and 1:1 is standard only. I will continue to release other variants of the rifle as and when I make them so keep an eye on my profile for more. I am unable to test print still as I need to protect my 1 year old from resin fumes associated with printing so if you notice any errors or problems with my models please let me know and I will update them with fixes.
