BTL-A1-H Y-Wing Heavy Fighter Bomber (Not Star Wars Canon!) This Model is 238mm long. I do plan on adding a split version for easier printing when I get the time. I built this from scratch using nothing but TINKER-CAD. THIS IS MY DESIGN, NOT A REMIX, OR A RE-DESIGN, BUT A FROM SCRATCH DESIGN. I plan on adding a second version sitting on landing gear. I just need the time to design the heavy landing gear for this y-wing craft. Have you ever noticed that the design of the Star Wars BTL A-1 Y-Wing Fighter Bomber seemed a bit on the delicate side. They just can not take a beating. They get shot down by Imperial TIE Fighters or other enemy fighters. Not any more. Introducing the: BTL-A-1H Y-Wing HEAVY FIGHTER BOMBER Specs: Upgraded Engines and Hyperspace drives. The engines are also a better design for faster attacks and more armor plating over the main engines. The engine design is based on the standard T-65 X -Wing Fighter, but even better. The addition of Primary and Secondary Deflector Shield Generators give this version of the Y-Wing Fighter Bomber a better chance at survival, and the secondary fusion reactor in the enlarged rear fuselage gives the deflector shields more power, making it a lot harder to shoot down. The new advanced targeting system means the Gunner/Co-Pilot can now take care of mission critical firing solutions while the pilot can handle the primary flight controls without needing to worry about targeting priorities. The standard astro-mech has been upgraded to a tactical version, complete with navigation, combat priorities, and the handling of the rear self defense turret. Weapons: 4 - Proton Torpedo launchers in the front fuselage. (Two on the top, two on the underside) 4 - Main cannons mounted in the nose 2 - Ion torpedo, or fusion warhead missile tubes mounted in the rear fuselage pointing forward. This is a whole new bread of Y-Wing Fighter Bomber than previous generation. Capable of inflicting massive damage, and at the same time able to protect its self and even go more on the offensive when engaging enemy fighters with its 4 main cannons..
