SPOOL HOLDER TUSH ADJUSTABLE
Description
This is the "Desktop" version of my Sovol SV06 Gantry spool holder. Since I started 3D priniting, I have never been really happy with the various spool holder designs. For the past 7 or 8 years, I have been using a "Tush" design found on Thingiverse which was working "ok". Filament dispensing worked fine but adjustability to various spool width and sturdiness gave much to be desired. So! I finally ended my procrastination and after going through a bunch of various designs, I finally ended with another variation of a "Tush" design. My printers are very carefully calibrated and aside of the threads clearances can be printed as it. You might notice a 0.1mm gap between the 2 components of a "Tush". It is by design as I wanted the fasteners pressure to apply to the bearing core. For the large 16mm Adjustment Nuts, I have applied a 102% in X and Y axis. For the smaller 10mm Guide Nuts. I used 107% in X and Y. The needed hardware is as follow: 4x 608ZZ bearings (make sure they are degreased and roll freely) 4x M5x20 machine screws flat head 4x M5 nuts Happy printing
