iRobot Braava M6 Mop attachment for previous Gen pads
Description
Backstory I have owned a Braava 380 for years. Each time I used it our grumpy old Yorkie would try to attack it but never succeeded until recently. I just tried to use our Braava 360 a few days ago to find that my wheels were pulled off by our dog during its last use. Yesterday we picked up a Braava M6 Jet only to find we were going to have to replace all of our reusable mopping pads. I spent a bit of time designing this adapter but I think it still needs some work. Explanation In its current design, two prints are needed. The M6 attachment plate and the 380 style base. These two pieces align and connect with three triangles. I planned to glue them with CA glue but they fit so tight, I haven't needed to. The print-in-place hinged pad plate requires two pieces of Velcro to hold the pads in place. You can hinge the flaps down to attach your pad. Braava M6 A V2.stl 10hrs 27min 28.79m 85.9g Braava M6 B V2.stl 2hrs 11min 5.73m 17.1g Update The next iteration of this will have more clearance between the pad mount and the Braava M6 body as well as recessed Velcro pockets. For my purposes, I just hinge the flaps down while attaching the adapter to the Braava M6 Credit I would like to give credit for the design of the M6 mounting plate was not designed by me. This integral parts was found here and gave me a starting point for my design. iRobot Braava Jet M6 original pads by Gabry1609
