Phone Stand
Description
Phone stand that I designed based on a chair I've seen at a museum. There are two parts that needs to be printed, partA and partB. As can be seen in the pictures, partB goes through partA. There is a stopper tab so push it all the way until the stopper engages. I didn't want the stand to be flimsy so I made it tight fit. I really had apply some force with my hands to get it in all the way. The small tab at the bottom of partA should be facing towards the back and not the phone. The stand in the picture is printed at 80% while the phone in the picture is an iPhone XR (150.9 mm tall, 75.7 mm wide). Should handle an iPad when printed at 100% but I haven't tried it. I had some leftover cork from the coaster project so I stuck some on the bottom as well as the lip where the phone sits to reduce the plasticky feel. partB definitely needs support where the part is not touching the build plate. Due to the low overhang angle, my ender 3 pro struggled with good adhesion. I had to play around with the support setting and find out that the concentric pattern works best. Hope you like it and let me know if you have any suggestions! https://www.instagram.com/kinalabs_/
