Pipeliner welding helmet nut
Description
Here's something I made at work for our welder. He was complaining that the nut that his pipeliner(clamshell) helmet pivots on strips out regularly. So I designed this. It is longer than the stock screw, along with having full threads, as opposed to the stock screw that only had threads on 3/4 of the face. The thread is 1/4-20. You will likely need to use a tap and die for this. Printed using matterhackers RYNO, but feel free to use ABS or other strong plastic. I found that PLA was not up to this task.
