Super Mario Beanstalk Cable Channels

Super Mario Beanstalk Cable Channels

Description

Climb that beanstalk! I had vertical wires that I needed hidden in my new place. I had the idea to print cable channels, but I wanted them to look fun. Hence: Super Mario beanstalks. There are 3 STLs included, and 1 OBJ with the parts "put together". I designed the Beanstalk insets to be printed separately. They are 0.15mm smaller than the Outline, which was the right fit for my printer, but you may need to adjust. Increasing or decreasing the extrusion width should help. My recommendations: 1. This was designed specifically for a layer height of 0.28mm, with a first layer height of 0.2mm, but you should be fine if your layer heights are a bit different. 2. Print "Outline.stl" in black, with the "hooks" facing UPWARDS. You will have long bridges on the bottom (where the Beanstalk fits into the Outline); that's fine. You should not need supports. 3. Print "Green Beanstalk.stl" in green, flat. 4. Print "Wall Clip" VERTICALLY, with an adequate brim. If you print it vertically you keep strength on the walls so they won't snap. It takes much longer to print this way, but you get better accuracy and strength for holding the Outline. 5. Smush the Green Beanstalk into the Outline; clip those onto the Wall Clip (after mounting and filling with cables, of course). 6. Watch out for Lakitus while climbing beanstalks.
