Intex Poollight Adapter for Bestway Whirlpools using Chemconnect
Description
Hi there This adapter connects the Intex Pool Led for Bubble Spa with the Chemconnect outlet of Bestway hot tubs. There are two solutions. Both of them need the "ledconnector.stl" as it is used for a connector plate to the lamp. The connector plate is 12 sided and allows the lamp to be hooked in at different angles. The plate is meant to allow the lamp to be taken out without disassembling the chemconnect, for example to change the batteries. The first solution "ledpoolconnect_klemmbar.stl" is a bracket that can be clamped to the chemconnect. This was my first idea, but it requires a lot more material and is not as neat as the second solution. Also, in my case, the Chemconnect was not mounted evenly, meaning the adapter hangs slightly askew. The second solution requires a small cutout on the Chemconnect (15x8mm). This solution is clamped inside the chemconnect and is therefore much less noticeable than the first variant. In addition, much less material is needed. Unfortunately I don't have any final results from the first solution. Only a photo that shows an early prototype, which came off the plate during printing and therefore looks a bit unfinished. Since I don't plan to print this part again, I can't provide any final results. I used the following settings for printing: Filament: Extrudr DuraPro ASA Wall lines: 6 for the connector and 10 for the screwable adapter plate. Infill: 65% Nozzle: 0.4mm 245°C Bed: 100°C Layerheight: 0.2mm Speed: 50mm/s Cooling: 0-50% Support: YES I also used coasting, retraction and random z seam, but they are not that important. The result may vary depending on the filament you are using as the ASA filament from extrudr warps a lot (the printed part is slightly smaller then the source). Ensure that you are using uv and chlorine resistent filament. I designed this part using Creo Parametrics
