Drilling template for ITEM 8 40x40 profile
Description
I created this drilling template because I have project on 40mmx40mm ITEM 8 profiles. For making 90° connections I need to precisely drill with a diameter of 7mm. Most of the drills are 20mm from the edge (half the profile size) or at a distance of my selection. therefore there is a lid. When folded downwards the drill gets placed at 20mm from the edge. For other drills I have created a gauge (to be seen by both sides). So the arrow is at the center of the drill. Further I inserted a hardened 7mm drill bush which guides the drill. The M8 screw is installed with an normal 8mm ITEM 8 nut onto the profile. This prevents the template from being pulled up while drilling operation. - Safety first.
