Flying Bear Ghost5 fanduct for original 5015 fan
Description
Cooling the material on the stock Flying Bear Ghost5 printer is critical, so I designed and tested a simple conveyor that directs air directly under the nozzle to solve the problem nicely. To assemble it, remove the original 5010 fan, place the conveyor on the outlet hole and reassemble the fan in its original position: the fanduct will remain locked in the right position without the need for glue or screws. The 3mf and gcode files are specific to be printed with Ghost 5. Otherwise, use the stl file. It is preferable to print it in ABS, ASA or PETG with the lowest possible layer height to avoid turbulence; of course you can also print in PLA, but once mounted I recommend setting the cooling fan to 10% instead of 0% during the first layer of the other prints to to prevent its deformation when using high build plate temperatures combined with a slow first layer speed.
