Stackable Parametric Small Parts Organiser

Hi all, This is my first upload. It's a fully parametric, stackable, small parts organiser. You can use the STACKABLE PARAMETRIC SMALL PARTS ORGANISER v2.f3d file to modify the parameters and therefore the dimensions of the tray and the boxes inside it which you can then export as .step or .stl files to print. The default settings are for a tray with internal dimensions of 200mm x 150mm x 35mm. It has 4 rows and 8 columns of boxes. TrayX, TrayY, and TrayZ determine the inside dimensions of the tray. The tray will update in size when you change these parameters. NumBoxesX and NumBoxesY determine the number of rows and columns for calculating the box sizes. The parameters take the internal dimensions and divide them by these values to determine a value for 1 unit in both the rows and columns. ModifierX and ModifierY is just a whole number which is used to multiply the unit dimensions calculated above for how many rows and columns the box fills. The box inside the tray will change in size depending on the values you enter to these parameters. The box will always be a multiple of the unit sizes and will therefore always fit within the grid of rows and columns. Multiple boxes can be stacked on top of each other. When you print the tray, make sure you use a material suitable for the job. If you fill the boxes up with nuts and bolts and then lift the tray up by one of the walls it could crack along the layer lines due to the weight. This happened to my first attempt so i increased the layer height and line width and increased the temperature of the filament hotend. The second attempt worked just fine. You need to get a strong enough material and with good enough layer adhesion for the items it will be storing. I used a matt PETG. I've exported step and stl files for the default parameter values so you can see what the tray and boxes will look like. These dimensions work well as the tray will fit on many 3d printer beds and with 4 rows and 8 columns you get a good selection of different box sizes to try. I didn't export every possible combination for the size of the boxes. Just a good representative selection. You will need to use Fusion 360 if you want to make custom sizes of trays and boxes of your own. I got the idea from Clough42.
