Junctional Tourniquet
Description
Read an article awhile back about how these special tourniquets are saving lives in Ukraine. Unfortunately they are $400USD and apparently are hard to source. I decided to try and create a 3D printable one. This is a work in progress, but the V1 currently has 3 parts. Two solid pieces to be made of PETG or similar plastic (the base and retention ring) and one that is designed to be printed in TPU or similar material (the Inflator). The idea is that the inflator is glued to the base, then the retention ring is glued over that. An inflator is attached to the access port on the side and inflates the TPU. I still have to work on the belt design, but I figured its best to try and get this out there asap. I have included the stl files as well as a Fusion360 archive file and STEP file. If anyone has the time or ability to help, please feel free to use all the design files in anyway you need. Slava Ukraini !!!
