1x1 Gridfinity Travel Cover
Description
This 1x1 baseplate has a cover held on by eight magnets. A 1x1 module up to 4U high is held to the baseplate. If you have a 4U module you can put things in this that are up to 63mm above the top of the module. That means things could be up to 13U tall +2mm (93mm). I used the fuzzy skin option in the slicer for a better look. The photo shows a 1x1 Bic module: https://www.printables.com/model/528731-1x1-bic Both the cover and the module were printed in Gold/Blue/Fuchsia coextruded filament using my spool rotator: https://www.printables.com/model/523118-spool-rotator The baseplate was printed in Locyfens sparkle rainbow PLA. You'll need 12 of the 6x2mm neodymium magnets. It's a baseplate so all the magnets should be aligned the same way as any baseplate. So the magnets in the cover are opposite and oriented like a bin.
