IKEA Skadis Pegboard Spacer or Mount
Description
I have the 30x22 Skadis pegboard, but the mount included has a 24" spacing. My studs are 16" and I plan to hang more than pens on it. So I created a spacer which I can run #10 wood screws through. I chose 3" long but you could get by with 2". The design flairs the top and bottom out so there is more leverage against the wall, side to side is tapered just in case you mount two diagonal from one another. There are two prongs that go up into the peghole which helps center the screw and keeps the mount from twisting. Enough clearance up and down is provided (2.5mm to help assist with final leveling. The prongs sit flush with the board when inserted. I hope someone else gets some use out of it!
