Odroid C2 ariy case for fan (60x60)
Description
I draw this case for my odroid C2. I use the odroid as home server and the place it in a lowboard.(dresser) At the summertime we had 25°C in the room. si i measure the cpu temperature from the odroid. Unbelievable, the odroid had 80°C, because the dresseri closed. The performance was really bad, so i searched for a possibility to cool the odroid. he easiest way: use a 5v fan with the usb port. (you can connect it to the gpio too, but you need to use a script for the controling) I use the 5v usb port and the fan runs the full time. I'm not sure which fan movement i should use Option 1: cool down by move the hot air out of the case Option 2: cool down by move air on the cpu heatsink I use option 2, becuase the dresser is closed (i can't blow it out). So i use the "warm" air in the dresser and blow it on the heatsink. Before extra fan: 75°C-85°C With the fan: 30°C - 35°C I use a noctua fan, because it's very silent.
